An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asset & Change Manager to join our team, working on our Client’s site in Milton Keynes. The role will involve management of Asset maintenance as well as experience working as an IT Change Manager.

JOB: Asset & Change Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asset & Change Manager to join our team, working on our Client’s site in Milton Keynes. The role will involve management of Asset maintenance as well as experience working as an IT Change Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Asset Management:

  • Establish and maintain an accurate and detailed asset register and a maintenance plan for all 3 client sites to ensure reactive and remedial maintenance work delivered via subcontractors or directly employed staff is documented.
  • Review and audit all client assets ensuring accuracy of CMDB and asset register at all times.
  • Establish and maintain suitable processes to capture and fully utilize warranty information, ensuring valid and viable claims are made for warranty failures.
  • Establish and maintain effective stores and supplies of critical spares to maximize first-time-fix and minimize equipment down time.
  • Analyze and continually improve the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of asset management in collaboration with the client to reduce through-life maintenance costs whilst maximizing availability, reliability and maintainability.

Change Management:

  • Working with the Customer’s Change Manager, identify required change activities, define the delivery plan in conjunction with the Change owner and oversee execution this.
  • Own client relationships, using technical knowledge and prior experience to quickly establish credibility and build a reputation as a trusted partner
  • Use project management methodology to report on status, identify risks, issues and complete assumption and dependency logs

  • Good amount of experience within a similar role

  • An ability to deal energetically with a multi-faceted demanding business
